Before beginning ministry, Michaila spent two years at a missionary training program where she was taught how to respect and appreciate different cultures while sharing the gospel in an appropriate manner.
She moved to Sioux Lookout in 2019, to serve First Nations youth alongside a team of other missionaries. Their desire is to love and serve by providing spiritual mentorship and support to the high schoolers who move away from their home communities to attend school. This ministry includes Bible studies and spending time with youth for discipleship. Their prayer is to see the next generation raised up to be godly leaders and followers of Christ in their communities.
