Many Christians today watch the news with raw horror at the disintegration of anything resembling the Judeo-Christian heritage in western civilization today. For many in the church they stare dumfounded at the continuous unfolding of events in the culture like critical theory, gender roles/identity, death of traditional marriage, and the elevation of “scientism” to the exclusion of a Trinitarian Christian worldview. In the book, “That Hideous Strength: A Deeper Look at How the West was Lost” author, Melvin Tinker, calls the church to “wake up” after sleeping for several decades while cultural Marxism has taken root in all aspects of Western society, including (to our shame) the Church. This small volume calls the church to action, to once again be bold in the defense of our faith in the face of this secular juggernaut. We highly recommend this book, and hope everyone reads it!
